CV: Since March 2025, Jenni Schmitt has been Head of Administration at Kunsthalle Basel.
Previously, and alongside her work as a freelance consultant and project manager for more than a decade, she co-directed the consultancy KEINE AGENTUR FUTURE LAB (2020–2024) and served as Management Lead of CIVIC (2022–2024): an interdisciplinary platform at the FHNW Academy of Art and Design in Basel, enabling collaborative experiments and dialogue to foster the societal relevance of art and design.
Before leading CIVIC, Jenni held senior roles in Communication and Marketing at the FHNW Academy of Art and Design in Basel (2015–2022).
In addition to her degrees from the Berlin University of the Arts (UDK), she holds a further education diploma in Coaching from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FHNW), and a qualification in Change and Innovation in Cultural Management from the University of Basel.
